I'm Billy Kramer, owner and founder of NFA Burger.

After a 25 year career that spanned the shoe industry, radio, print and digital media, I left the corporate world to follow a passion I developed during my business travels...burgers. What started as a personal Instagram account detailing my burger escapades – @billysburgers – turned into a smash burger pop-up concept where I used all my acquired burger knowledge to build and sell what I personally deemed the perfect smash burger.

My first popup was in the spring of 2018 at Battle and Brew in Sandy Springs, quickly followed by pop-ups at Galla's Pizza, Where's the Scoop, Hampton & Hudson, Big Sky and the PGA TOUR Championship.

In the fall of 2019, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a newly opened cafe inside the Chevron in Dunwoody just three miles from my house. After meeting with the owner, he decided to allow me to launch my first NFA Burger inside his gas station.

On December 3, 2019, I smashed my first burger inside what is currently the only location of NFA.

In 2023, I founded the annual Burger Benefit in support of Giving Kitchen. One Sunday a year, NFA hosts dozens of chefs from both Atlanta and around the country serving up their own take on a classic cheeseburger, and welcome the community to come try them all. All proceeds from the event’s ticket sales and silent auction are donated to Giving Kitchen's mission of helping food service workers in crisis. I’m honored to be able to give back to the industry I love so much through the Burger Benefit.
