Bartender

Position Title: Bartender
Reports To: General Manager and Assistant Manager
Position Summary: Bartenders are the face of the bar experience for our guests. Bartender responsibilities include ensuring our bar is clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality friendly service that will help us maintain and attract new customers.
Responsibilities:
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age of 21 years of age
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and beverages
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails to company standards
Restock and replenish bar inventory, supplies, and garnishes
Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations by City and State
Positive and upbeat attitude and excellent communication skills
Ability to keep the bar organized and stocked
Deal with complaints, concerns or problems with a positive, friendly, and comforting attitude
Issue checks/tabs for all items and collects and accept payments for all items
Exhibit a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity while maintaining our company culture
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Must be able to work schedule shifts assigned each week
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
